So, it's very good that they have partnerships for different things that cater to making your profile better.I am very thankful for the admissions counseling that I received. My counselor was great with me. She has been supportive, encouraging, and even critical when required. My counselor was very prompt and accessible. Every time I had a question or panicked about something, I would message her, and she would reply in an hour or so. Without her help, I don't think I could have managed to do this whole thing on my own.The editorial support service was excellent. The Edidate portal was a great idea because there are modules for each university, and first, you have to enter information about yourself. Subsequently, with the editor's help, I decided on essay prompts and the appropriate experiences that would comprehensively answer the essay prompts. I am thankful to the editor for ensuring the essays reflected my personality. I had no difficulty updating everything on the portal. The editor helped me identify what I have to cater to in each essay so that the admission committee of universities sees me for who I am.All in all, communication on the Galvanize portal has been very easy. They catered to what I asked for, and they took my interest and my passion into consideration, whether it was in selecting the university or whether it was in helping me build my essays.My parents are delighted. They are happy with how everything went. My mom was very involved in the process, She would look at the content I wrote, and she would help me write content for the essays as well. My mom was most of all happy with the research. We didn't know much about tuition costs or other expenses and had only a basic idea of the kind of university they wanted me to attend. So, I think the fact that Galvanize was able to offer those resources was very helpful.I was helped by two teachers for my SAT prep. Both of them were very prompt, and they would give me weekly worksheets to make sure I was up to date on the concepts. They helped me revise concepts that I was weak at and gave me material. They gave me critical feedback on all my mock tests. They would give me a detailed analysis of the mock tests, which I think is very important if you have to identify where you are going wrong and help yourself improve. The TOEFL was more of a self-study thing. I liked how it was organized. It's divided into different modules, such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening modules. I did very well on my TOEFLs even though I studied for only a couple of weeks. I received prompt feedback from my teachers on the full-length tests. The feedback is helpful and critical and helps you pinpoint where you are going wrong.My advice for all those aspiring to study abroad would be that you take one step at a time, do not rush things, take your time and consider feedback to help yourself look better, and do as much as you can to make your profile look better in that short amount of time. Do get started as early as you can because you don't want to rush.I am glad I chose Galvanize since it's great that it's not just admission counseling but everything around it. It's lovely that you offer everything you need for undergraduate or graduate admission; whether it be an SAT, TOEFL, or GRE requirement, you are offering something to help. I used the resources. I started with TOEFL prep. The materials were super helpful. I would give 9 on 10. It gave me all the concepts that I needed. The practice papers were very helpful and the videos helped me tackle each question of the 4-hour tiring exam.As for the admissions, my counselor was super helpful. We worked together. The essays were too good and she gave continuous feedback on my input. She made my essays better and I also improved my essay-writing skills through this process. I told her my aspirations, and my long-term, and short-term goals. She suggested taking the courses relevant to the subject that I apply. While shortlisting universities, she gave me insights on how to do that based on my interest, safety, and other important aspects. My family is happy and excited to move to the next phase of my life. I applied for my placement in the fourth year and got placed early despite being from a non-CS background. The two years of work made me realize that I need to upskill in this domain and attain foundational knowledge. I believe an M.S. from the U.S. would be helpful considering the job opportunities in the US. I also wished to go abroad for financial stability and to work in MNCs on a global platform.I wanted to apply but I couldn’t express myself so well in writing. I wanted someone to guide me through the process and when I went through the website, I understood that I would get the help I needed. The portal also looks good.The university shortlisting was the first procedure. My counselor and I had a detailed conversation through a meeting. I shared all my interests and my background. Considering all of these, a list of universities that aligned with my interests was given to me and then together we finalized 6 universities. I chose 4 ambitious and 2 safe universities and I was satisfied with my list. Her advice on doing pre-requisite courses as I am shifting the stream was also helpful.I provided the content for my resume. I had three iterations but I was happy with the first iteration itself. I didn’t have any changes. The resume was perfect and it was done pretty quickly. I had my documents ready in just a week. I had five iterations for my Statement of Purpose (SOP) as it was an important document. After two iterations, I found it to be awesome. I was very much satisfied and the content was very rich. I was happy that my profile and my content were used and rephrased in the best possible way. After the first iteration, the editor had also given me ideas and suggestions to include new points.They were very prompt about the deadlines. I have not faced any deadline issues even once. Every draft was given before 15 or 20 days. The questionnaire for SOP and the Letters of Recommendation was similar. I was given the Google Doc on my very first day of enrolling. The questions asked made me think about my career and my goals which I had not done enough.There will be many students who are good and they will not be able to present that in the paper. I faced the same issue. The quality of the content is important along with the GRE and IELTS. These things matter and at Galvanize I received help with all these aspects. I came to know about Galvanize through our College Seminar. Online Courses and personalized services attracted me to enroll with Galvanize. A representative from Galvanize had come to my University during my 2nd/3rd year, and I attended their seminar about GRE and MS Admissions. I was particularly impressed with their online platform and resources for GRE Prep. Since my week was filled with classes and college-related work, I preferred preparing for the GRE online and the fact that I could set my deadlines and follow a reasonable timetable.It started with filling out an extensive Google form from Galvanize that was pretty tough. Based on my responses and my choices of countries, I got a nice list of shortlisted Universities focusing on Biotechnology. These Universities were divided into ambitious, practical, and safe. I was also provided with each University's research area, finances, admission requirements, and so on, which was quite thorough. I had to pick 6 Universities to apply and I picked four Universities in the US and two in the Netherlands.The Google form that I filled out for shortlisting Universities helped me gather my thoughts regarding writing a statement of process. Based on the answers that I'd written for the form, I wrote a rough draft of my SOP then it was edited by Galvanize editors around three or four times, and I found those edits improved my SOP by a lot and made it more formal, yet individualized. The basic final draft of the SOP was ready and was edited for each University, with university-specific inputs like professors I'd like to work with since I was interested in research, curriculum, infrastructure, and so on.The admission Counselors were helpful and supportive with good feedback. I had to make an early admission deadline for a particular University, and they were very understanding about it and helped me make it. Editors were prompt with the SOP iterations and always responded to all my questions regarding GRE/TOEFL examinations, applications, visa related queries. I had a bunch of visa-related questions, and I remember feeling lost about the whole process, but Galvanize helped me out with all kinds of questions and made sure they got me back on track. The resources they provided for the entire visa process, including the documentation and help with filling out forms were incredibly helpful. For applications, they helped me with sending emails to professors regarding research opportunities. I was very much satisfied with my experience with Galvanize. As mentioned, they were helpful at each stage of my admission process till obtaining my visa, especially during the time of the pandemic. Galvanize helped me out with all my questions, provided good feedback and input, and overall was very kind and supportive.I had opted for GRE coaching services with Galvanize first and then opted for the admission counseling services as well. My experience with Galvanize concerning the GRE was really good. The resources are very well-researched and easy to understand, especially for the verbal component of the examination. The essays and the questions were quite tough but helped me prepare well. I had five mock tests, for which I got personalized feedback for all, which was helpful. The study material and questions for Quants were helpful as well. I enjoyed answering Quant's questions since I like Math. Also, I downloaded the Galvanize vocabulary app to improve my vocabulary which was very useful while attending the Verbal section of GRE. Analytical writing material and questions were quite informative. I enjoyed my experience with Galvanize, concerning GRE prep, in terms of the user interface, feedback, resources, material, and so on.Start early. It's always good to start early with your admissions because it is an elaborate process and you will have a lot of items in your checklist to strike off for each university. Apply to as many universities as possible, since the admission criteria for each University will be different and you might end up getting accepted to a University you never thought of. Make sure your SOP is good and strong, a really good SOP takes your application a long way when compared to your grades. Also ensure that your SOP reflects well on your experiences, your interests, why you are choosing a particular University, and how your University will help you with your goals. Try not to get too disheartened by rejections, it's part of the process, acceptance will come your way too! The entire MS admission process from shortlisting to getting your visa will be hectic and overwhelming, but you will get through it.Ask for help, and get your SOP reviewed. For the GRE, please work on your vocabulary, that helps. Practicing questions, reading long passages, and summarising will help in the actual test. Because the GRE is a 3-4 hour exam and requires focus and concentration to be able to sit and take the exam, reading long passages will help you with your Verbal component. Do not take your mock tests lightly, they help you adapt to a GRE-like environment and also tell you where exactly you stand. When you start working on a particular topic, while studying and taking quizzes, you might score well. But taking a mock test will tell you what exactly your strengths and weaknesses are, as a whole.Good luck with everything!

I have always aspired to pursue a higher degree and settle in the US. It requires consistent preparation; otherwise, organizers would not design a test for international competition to be as straightforward as you might think. Start your preparations early and have a clear plan. Initially, it's crucial to identify your strengths and weaknesses through a diagnostic test.From my experience, I was an average student who could grasp concepts, but joining Galvanize significantly enhanced my score, especially on my first attempt. I recommend online programs like Galvanize, which offer superior classroom training for those who cannot prepare for the GRE on their own. Adherence to the study plan and dedicating a significant amount of time to preparation are essential.Do not underestimate the effort required for GRE preparation. Work consistently and follow the advice of your Course Managers, as they often understand your needs better than you might realize.
