The overall experience with the entire Galvanize team was exceptional. The structured prep plan, the depth of practice material, and the consistency of mentor support helped me approach the Digital SAT with confidence. The 1530 wasn't just a number for me - it opened the door to the universities I had been targeting. I managed to narrow down my university choices because the score put the strongest programs within reach.
India
I compared four SAT prep options before signing up. What made me pick Galvanize was their track record with 1500+ scorers and the structured Digital SAT plan - everything was built around the new adaptive format, not retrofitted from old paper-based material. The single biggest USP for me was the mock test bank backed by per-question analytics. After every full-length mock, I could see exactly which question types I was losing marks on - reading inference, advanced math word problems, specific grammar rules - and the platform recommended targeted practice sets to fix each gap.Their approach was diagnostic-first: a baseline test before anything, then a customized weekly plan, then mocks every weekend with detailed walkthroughs. By the time I sat for the real Digital SAT, the format and pacing felt completely familiar. 1530 was the outcome.
India
I looked at the bigger international names first, but most of them were self-paced video libraries with no real check-in. What made me pick Galvanize was the personal mentor model - a dedicated person who called every week to review my progress, look at my mock results, and adjust the plan. That level of accountability was hard to find elsewhere at the same price. The weekly mentor calls kept me on schedule when I was tempted to drift, and the customized study plan adapted as my weaker areas became stronger. Their approach felt less like a course and more like having a coach. The mock tests were calibrated well - the score I got on the final two practice tests was within 20 points of my actual 1520. That predictability is what builds confidence going into test day.
Chennai, India
The teaching methodology at Galvanize was systematic - we'd go to a chapter, solve a set of problems, then build on what we learned. Step by step, the practice compounded into real readiness. My parents were very happy about my score. They saw the daily work, the structured plan, and the steady progress - and the 1510 made it all worth it.
Bengaluru, India
My parents are really happy with my scores and the entire process at Galvanize. The prep was structured, the mentors were responsive, and the mock tests gave me a clear read on where I stood at every stage.I would recommend Galvanize to a lot of my friends and juniors who are starting their SAT journey. The approach genuinely works.
USA
When the SAT switched to the Digital adaptive format, most prep providers just repackaged their legacy paper material with a digital coat of paint. I wanted a program built around the new format from the ground up - that's why I chose Galvanize.Their approach was module-by-module: first module untimed practice with concept videos, then timed module practice, then full-length adaptive mocks that actually behaved like the real test (harder second module if you did well on the first). Each mock had a per-question review showing time spent and concept tested. The USP for me was that prep felt aligned to the real test, not parallel to it. 1510 was the result, and the score got me into the engineering programs I was targeting in the US.
Bengaluru, India
My SAT teachers gave me weekly worksheets to keep me current on the concepts, helped me revise the areas I was weak in, and gave me critical, detailed feedback on every mock test. That analysis is what let me pinpoint where I was going wrong and actually improve. The 1460 plus a 114 on TOEFL got me into UCSD, UIUC, and University of Washington, all for Aerospace Engineering. UIUC is ranked no.5 in the US for aerospace right after the Ivy Leagues, and the fact that the program was reachable for me came down to the prep working.
Coimbatore, India
I came in with an unusual profile - a three-year polytechnic Diploma after 10th instead of the standard 12th-grade route. Galvanize took the time to actually work with that profile, analyze it honestly, and find universities that fit.My admission counselor walked me through every step from the application to the visa process, and the essay mentor would compile clean essays from my points, give me multiple drafts, and ask me which one I liked. The 1130 on a one-month prep was enough to land Robotics at Arizona State, and I am relocating now.
Lakhimpur, India
I don't know about the other other programmes but I can assure you of that Galvanize do their job quite well. On my very first attempt, I was able to get a GRE Score of 333/340 (V:165+Q:168) with the help of Galvanize. Here's why I liked Galvanize:I took the 60 days crash course which was really cheap compared to other programmes like GREedge or Magoosh. They had a whole study plan for the next 60 days made for me based on the the target I put up in the beginning so that I don't have to waste my time making one. You'll have your own whatsapp group made in which you can seek any kind of help you want. They usually respond immediately. If you have any doubts during the lessons, you can post if directly in the discussion tab and you are most likely to get a reply within 24 hours. They make you give short tests almost everyday which made me get accustomed with the actual test from the beginning. They also gives a detailed analytics of your performance after every test. Mock Tests: You'll get a package of 5 mock tests, each of them including the AWA sections and also the experimental section which means you'll get five real test experiences! You'll get personalized feedbacks for each test (after one or two days after taking the test), you'll know your weak and strong points. They'll give you tips to improve according to your perfomance on the test. They also score you on the AWA part on each test, although you'll get a personalized feedback for only the 3rd test. If you can't find enough motivation for preparations and lag behind on the study plan, then don't worry, their constant phone calls will keep motivating you. Here's what I did not like about Galvanize:The practice questions (and even the test questions) are copied mostly from the ETS books. The verbal and analytical lessons were basically the first few chapters of the ETS official guide. You won't have an on-screen calculator during the quant section. (I hope they'll fix this soon!) Their own vocabulary app is not very helpful as you can't practice the words you have already mastered. Their GRE prep app repeats questions every now and then. Finally, I scored 305 in the diagnostic test and after 60 days I scored 333 which is a huge 28 marks jump. So, I would definitely recommend Galvanize to everyone.

Not sure, if it is the best but Galvanize coaching has a pretty decent online program. They cover all the question types in the verbal section thoroughly and provide with proper tips and techniques. I used to have a notion that the verbal section is purely based on vocabulary and not much thinking goes into it. They helped me change that notion and made me attack each question in a logical and iterative manner. Their exercises and tests helped me a lot. Also, they had a decent amount of practice for the AWA part in which I was least confident. Their exercises and tests made me improve a lot. And their personalized feedback regarding the AWA part in the third mock test was helpful. The Mock tests were very useful and were fairly accurate in predicting your actual GRE score. In every mock test, AWA was graded which helped me a lot in understanding where I stand. The Galvanize preparation was fairly sufficient but I would still suggest practicing some questions from some books like manhattan 5 lb just to get a different perspective. In the end, it all comes down to how well you understood to attack the questions in the verbal section.

My name is Rohi, I am currently pursuing my final year of Computer Science honors. I was into preparing GRE and I was fixated on pursuing masters. I did not go to the placements that my college suggested to me. I started Googling about test preps. I was really into researching as I wanted my preparations to be the best and then I was checking in Quora and then I got to know about Galvanize. There were a lot of Galvanize reviews about the thorough explanations they give, then I came into contact with Galvanize and I registered on the website. We had a conversation about why Galvanize is good and they shared the personalized timetable. Okay, then I thought okay let's go for Galvanize. So, Galvanize was good slowly as I was preparing I did notice some problems with Galvanize too. After my preparation, the revision videos were stopped. Especially the Geometry, I was planning to go through the video, but in the actual video there were only two videos that were only in 20 min but the revision video session was one hour or two.I wanted to go through them and I discussed this with my course managers. They said that it is just like the revision videos that are compiled together and another person also despite chatting with him, did not reply. This left me with a bad impression of GalvanizeBecause of this, I left my prep incomplete and my knowledge was not broad-based. My hospitalization affected my mock test so I couldn't do it. I had to leave Galvanize in the middle and It was too heavy for me. So I had to go another test prep through virtual mode where I paid 5 dollars. He explained it to me thoroughly and I prepared for my GRE.I have UCB UCLA and Arizona and Georgia Tech in mind. It is a good chance so I thought about it. These are the Universities I have sent my score to, I will shortlist the Universities after taking my TOEFL.I m planning to give TOEFL in November. Basically, I just finished the quant and reading and I completed a lot of verbal vocabulary and I was interested in verbal. Verbal was pretty easy for me then I went to quantAs I was hospitalized and my relative was also severely infected with corona, it was not a great moment for me to start again and kickstart my learning journey, so I had to leave in the middle. Strategies are crucial to GRE but Galvanize did not team me with any strategies GRE is a time-based exam and I did not come across any strategy in the teaching pedagogy. I had to finish tasks to give a mock test but I couldn't give the mock test as I did not complete the tasks. So I thought it's better to leave. I couldn't handle it. The course managers asked me to finish the task and take the mock test and it was very fast for me. Sitting for 5 hours was difficult. I had to focus on my academics too because of CGP. I had to slow down my prep and did not take any mock tests and other tests.Verbal topic-based tests were good. The verbal tutor was good. The topics covered were really helpful for GRE. Quant was also pretty good. I thought quant questions were really easy as in high school level. The topics which we did not discuss were also there. After asking for clarification also, I did not get a great response. There was a link with slides about the material and I got to access it at a very later stage. No one gave a heads-up about this. So I found this only after the exam. The parents are really happy. Now I am nervous about taking the TOEFL test, I am confident about my English my I am skeptical about my writing skills. In GRE, I was lucky. I got the topics that I prepared. I was able to face it. My friends are also happy and I am going to apply.I saw my cousin as my inspiration and that was the reason. It was difficult for me to convince my parents, but once they saw me doing well in my UG as my communication improved so that is what convinced them.I wish to take a call and understand the application processThank you.

I was interested in business studies from the start. I didn't feel CAT was the right option for me but I felt pursuing higher studies in really a good university will So that way I thought of doing higher studies. I wanted to do a master's in Business Analytics because I was interested in Data Science and the Modelling of problems. In that way, I felt that Business Analytics would be right for me. One of my seniors took coaching through Galvanize test prep and he saw a huge improvement in his score. He recommended Galvanize. I knew Galvanize only from him and it really helped.I researched from my side. In Google I did. I found good Quora reviews. All the Quora reviews were very positive and I knew that Galvanize is not live to teach but it is self-studying. I felt that it would be really better for me. I felt Galvanize would be the best option for me to start my test preparation.Galvanize is the most affordable GRE test prep. I don't think any other platform gives such a reasonable price even with counseling, GRE, IELTS, or TOEFL. I think Galvanize is the best option.I scored 308 on my diagnostic test. I felt it was a fine score and I felt I could improve because I knew where I was doing mistakes. My senior convinced me as he too got a low score in diagnostic and his final score was great. He advised me to identify the mistake and work on it. So I followed that. I wasn't nervous but it helped me for sure. The customized study plan was beneficial. My quant was a bit strong and my verbal was a bit weak. So Galvanize set my study plan accordingly to the best of my capabilities. GRE verbal app was of great help to me. I learned a lot of words from that and Triveni Ma'am shared a pdf where it had nearly 1000 words. That was the most helpful thing and I followed that religiously till my exam. The quant section and content were good for me as I was strong in it. The verbal section was also fine. Sometimes I felt it was difficult for me because I was weak in the verbal section. Some levels were very difficult and some I could do it confidently. The tougher levels gave me an understanding of where I was weak. The suggestion I would give is rather than keeping it as a task, it could be given as a word quiz inside the study plan, then it will be great. My doubts were solved. I just had doubts about whether I was improving or where I was going. This was something I had and my course managers helped me with it.The course managers were great. The constant reminders and warnings on my status of where I lack, really helped a lot.I will surely recommend Galvanize to anyone because first, it is very reasonable and if you follow it rigorously without losing confidence by understanding your mistakes, I think anybody can score 320 plusI think the Mock test at Galvanize is more difficult than the actual GRE. It is good to be that way.It gave me a real-life experience.I looked at the personalized reports and learned a lot from them.

I can definitely vouch for Galvanize. I had enrolled in the 90 days verbal course and it helped me increase my verbal score from 146 to 160. I got a total score of 326 on my GRE. Galvanize provides a very efficient personalized study plan which is tailored according to the needs and expectations of every student. So anyone who has a busy schedule and wants to stay on track for GRE preparation should definitely go for it. There are videos that provide important tips to ace the GRE and the practice questions are at par with the level of the actual GRE. The RC questions on the GRE are very tricky and Galvanize has ample practice questions and video explanations to help you deal with those tricks. Apart from that, the instructors also help you to clear your doubts on any question. The assessments track your performance and lets you compare your accuracy with that of other learners. It has 5 full length mock tests that prepare you for the strenuous 4 hours of GRE. It also provides detailed personalized feedback report for each mock test and helps you to identify the areas which you need to work upon. The Galvanize Vocabulary app is the best vocabulary booster I have come across. The words are presented with their meanings, usages and a picture that significantly aid in memory retention. It also has an app containing question banks that helps you to practice questions on the go!

I took the GRE in October this year after having enrolled with Galvanize for their 30-day crash course. I scored 159 in Verbal and 166 in Quants and this was my first attempt. I was lacking the proper daily commitment in my self-study of a month and I decided to join Galvanize because one of my friends' recommended it after their good experience. I also was not great at Verbal section with my RC reading speed slow and vocabulary basic. Galvanize provided me what I was looking for: a proper meticulous day wise study plan which helped me manage my job as well as every day studying with the appropriate strategies.Reasons for why Galvanize was helpful are as follows-1. Galvanize provides day wise study plan with each activity's approximate time duration also mentioned so that you can plan your day wisely and finish the tasks. It really helped me gain back my studying stamina after office.2. Galvanize was really affordable compared to other similar services. I got the course for Rs. 6000 and when I asked them to extend the course for a few more days they did so without asking anything till my exam date!!3. They have a status bar which helps you look at your progress towards your target score. This bar in the end was very accurate for me as when I completed all the modules it showed 158 in verbal and 168 in quants.4. There is a special team assigned to you with a Galvanize Course Manager. They keep you motivated if you are lagging behind and guide you through your mistakes. Once you give one of the five mock test, they promptly give you critical feedback which helps you improve in the next one. They also helped me with what to do on the last few days.5. Both the Verbal and Quant sections of Galvanize were comprehensive and focused on getting basics right to solve every question. They also provided with the right strategies to solve every type of questions. Since I was weak in verbal (was not able to complete the whole section in time limit) practicing these strategies with the questions given helped me immensely. Quant strategies are excellent. The videos on the portal helps you go through all the corner cases type of questions in a particular topic. That helped me a lot on my last day before exam. I just went through these as they were comprehensive.6. You can ask questions on any lectures and they will help you out promptly. They also have regular webinars which cover up a certain topic that might be of additional help for the students.7. The Galvanize vocabulary app was also extremely helpful as it was comprehensive with the use of pictures as mnemonics. It is a bit overwhelming to go through all the 1800 words but if you try to do some words every day, it will be enough. I also covered up Barron's 1100, 800 words and Manhattan essential 500 words using Memrise App. That for me was a game-changer in learning the GRE words in a way I was able to recall them in articles.8. Their mobile app called Galvanize has amazingly tough questions. Practicing them helped me increase my speed and cover roughest questions.Once I was accustomed with their study plan, I started doing other book side by side. I finished all ETS books near the end so that I was able to make use of the questions there as exam's difficulty level will be same as questions in those books. I also practiced from the Manhattan 5 lb book for Quant and was very impressed with their division of topics and various types of questions which were not difficult, but clever. I practiced RC from there as well in a timed manner which helped increase my speed and accuracy greatly. I also recommend reading editorial section of good English newspapers so that you are able to recall words you've learned. I went an extra mile for improving my verbal section but if you are good at that then you can skip this. Overall, Galvanize helped me a lot in achieving a good score. Their guidance combined with my dedication and self-study led me towards 325 in GRE.All the best!

I am Manoj from JNU, Kakinada. I'm in my third year pursuing my CSC. I came to know about Galvanize through my friend he was my senior, even he took the 45 day crash course in Galvanize so he suggested me Galvanize. Since I had much time I took the regular course. I got in touch with some Galvanize and they sent me some links regarding the feedback and all. I went to Galvanize website and read the reviews and I found it very impressive. The pricing was affordable when compared to the rest of the other preps. The user interface was easier to navigate throughout the website easily. Actually I was very nervous after looking at my diagnostics scores which was 290. So I was very nervous but confident in my quant section but my verbal I was not that much confident. The app which has the 60 sets of words I have completed around 40 of them and and I think it helped me a lot in the main exam. Verbal from the start itself I was not able to do properly after giving my three mock tests then I started to feel some improvement was able to improve my verbal score. I did not expect to get 160 in verbal. In all of my mock tests the highest I got was 155 and I expected the same in my exams but I got 167 so it was very lucky that I got 160.The WhatsApp group was helpful they were constantly updating me and they were also intimating me when there was a mock test the next day and they were also looking at my mock test scores and telling the areas which I have to improve and all so it was very helpful. The overall course was very good. There were other number of practice problems that was the reason which helped me to get 165 in quant the questions range from difficulty so in the mock test also not just the specific concept test but all the concepts were included in the mock test so we were able to get an overall idea of the actual test so overall the experience in galvanize is pretty good.

I chose Galvanize Test Prep for my GRE preparations and I was able to achieve the GRE score that I aimed for, with 60 days of preparation, using the content that they provided. The study plan that Galvanize offers is structured in such a way that it is easy for the learner to understand the pattern of questions and practice the questions of different levels of toughness, going from simple to tougher ones. The plan contains videos explaining quant topics and the tips and tricks to solve verbal questions in an efficient way. It also includes assessments spread evenly across the course duration, helping us to practice questions and eventually learn.Galvanize provides a mobile app as a part of the GRE preparation for practicing verbal and quant questions. In addition to that, a Vocabulary app is also offered which helps us learn new words in the form of quizzes that effectively commit the words into our memory. The mock tests were of good standards simulating the actual GRE test environment, which helped me to get rid of the "exam fear" that I usually get before my exams. I was able to face the test with confidence. If you are planning to take up GRE and if you feel guidance would help you achieve higher, then Galvanize is surely the right place to start with!

My name is Deepika Gullapalli. I graduated from BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women. I wanted to pursue my higher education abroad. So I was looking for some assistance. I came across Galvanize through their Vocabulary app. Soon I received a call from their counselor who explained to me the whole process. My journey with Galvanize has been really good.Especially my counselor Aarthi was really helpful. We did the University Shortlisting by discussing a lot of factors.I must say that the team is very cooperative and quick as they helped me with drafting my sop, resume and lors.I would like to thank the team for guiding me throughout the process. Very happy to share that I received admits from California State University - East Bay, San Diego State University, San Francisco State University, University of California - Riverside, Arizona State University. And I will be going to San Diego State University and will be doing my Management Information Systems

My experience was good. I was clueless and mostly under confident with my scores( v161,q162) , so had a hard time gauging which colleges were within my reach , and which were ambitious.I also was confused with the disciplines available. Thankfully Galvanise helped my revise and make a final list and helped me understand the evaluation process , find which details were relevant on a statement of purpose and so on.The counselor Ramya was readily available when I had queries and was empathetic.I had taken only the shortlisting process , and they did a good job. I wish they had expert advisors for other courses other than CS ones , but they did their best to help.

I came to know about Galvanize through a webinar that was conducted by my University in collaboration with Galvanize.I picked their services for TOFEL preparation, i really need to prep for my test serious to able to plan how i would give the exams. The service was really good. the test serious really helps to understand your strength and weaknesses and the feedback provided by Galvanize is actually helpful how you could make changes to make your test experiences better. On the actual day of exam it was quite. All you have to do is focus and give your best. Other than that whatever services you get from Galvanize are good. My total is 119 out of 120. I have to thank Galvanize for helping score that much good scores. Thank you very much

My name is Akshay Korpe, and I joined Galvanize three years back when I was preparing for my GRE and TOEFL. It was the beginning for me because I had yet to learn about the exam. So, basically, I opted for two plans, one was for the preparation for GRE and TOEFL, and the other was the admission counseling package. So, I gave my GRE and TOEFL two years after I started. I opted for Galvanize because of the covid situation. Finally, I gave the GRE last year, and currently, I have received an admit from Clemson that I am planning to join in the coming month. So, what I did was that I did a Google search for India's leading coaching and counseling agencies. And Galvanize was one of them, even though, in the results, it was not on the top. So, I started contacting all of the leading agencies. And Galvanize was one of the options but I was not very sure about it. But I have a good friend at IIT Madras. So, he told me about some workshop that you guys were going to perform there, I think 2-3 years ago. I attended that workshop and, I think, that was what inspired me to build up trust in Galvanize. So, I opted for the TOEFL and GRE prep plan first, and I liked it, hence, I went for the admission counseling as well. The GRE prep was good. It was not a coaching kind of situation. It was more of mock tests and all which is really what is required for the GRE, you don't need any sort of coaching. And the interface was quite good and I liked the experience. My counselor was really great, she was really helpful. Because of my background, I was not very sure about getting into good universities, because I had some flaws in my overall portfolio. But she was very helpful, she was in touch with me quite a lot.I would like to give some feedback regarding the SOP and documentation part. It was handled by some other person, not my counselor. And I think I was not satisfied with it at all. And, it was even a phase where I had started approaching other agencies you know, because it was a very important time in my MS journey. And I had second thoughts about Galvanize. So, I would say that the editing part was not on par.So, the SOP is a very personal document. But the approach that Galvanize takes is more on the roadside. I mean like you have to provide inputs and no matter how many inputs you provide, I tried different inputs for different university SOPs. All of them turn out to be the same. You can easily tell that the SOP is not made by me. Secondly, the editor was not very local and used to not communicate a lot. So, I had issues with that part. Even when it comes to LOR, what I wanted was actual templates, you know, how a LOR should look like. Rather, I got something that you can easily Google. I received that from Galvanize. I think that could have been better if the editor could have been more vocal and we could have communicated more had she had a personal interest in my profile. I was told by the editor that the counselor does not handle this section. I was in touch with my counselor as well and I think even she had some personal emergencies on her personal front, something like that. Anyway, it was not very dissatisfactory but I think there is a lot of scope for improvement in that part because that approach itself is not very good. The counseling part was really great. I had absolutely no knowledge about any University and my counselor was very helpful and she actually gave me some personal advice as well. I actually had applied to x number of universities and I received only one good admit and one ambitious one. And that was the university that my counselor personally suggested I go to. Initially, I was not going to go there, and I am lucky enough to receive an admission from them. For my visa, I had some mock interviews scheduled, and I had to fill out some questionnaires, all those things from the same counselor. And it was very helpful. It was a very seamless experience because this was my first time going for a visa interview, and I was very nervous about it. But after a few mocks, I was comfortable with it.I managed the finance part myself. But I was told by Galvanize that they would help me out with that as well. But I never received any sort of link. So, what I did was I was told to go to the portal and apply for financial help. I think there was some provision for that. But, I never received any call from any bank or anything. So I managed myself. So I have an uncle who is a citizen of the US, so I took a loan from a U.S. bank, Discover Bank. It was financially more viable to me. But from Galvanize I did not receive any sort of help regarding the financial part even though I opted for it.Overall it was a nice experience. I think the editing part needs some improvement. I think I would like to write a Quora post or something. I would like to help Galvanize, I would like to give back however I can. Because my counselor is aware that my profile was not suited for the university from which I received an admit from. I am very satisfied with that, and I would like to tell everybody else also regarding that. I did not believe that I received admission from that university. In terms of accommodation and all, it will be good to know the benefits I will be getting as a Galvanize student. If I will be getting special benefits because of a special tie-up, then I will surely be opting for that only, it will be very helpful.Thank you

I took the GRE and TOEFL after preparing with galvanize. Their study plan was very rigorous and thorough. It helped me prepare my concepts from the ground up and honed them with lots of practice and tips. The feedback from the counselors along with the vast amount of material available allowed me to improve in areas where I was weak. The support team from galvanize was always ready to help and answer my questions either via the portal, email or whatsapp. Overall, I would highly recommend galvanize to anyone who wants to take either the GRE or TOEFL or both!

A representative from Galvanize had come to my university during my 2nd/3rd year, and I'd attended their seminar about GRE and MS Admissions. I was particularly impressed with their online platform and resources for GRE Prep. Since my week was filled with classes and college related work, I preferred preparing for GRE online and the fact that I could set my own deadlines and follow a reasonable timetable helped a lot. It started with filling an extensive Google form from Galvanize that was pretty thorough. Based on my responses and my choice(s) of countries, I got a really nice list of shortlisted universities focusing on Biotechnology. These universities were divided into ambitious, practical and safe. I was also provided with each university's research area, finances, admission requirements and so on, which was quite thorough. I had to pick 6 universities to apply to, via Galvanize and I had picked four universities in the US and two in the Netherlands. The Google form that I'd filled for shortlisting universities really helped me gather my thoughts regarding writing a statement of process. Based on the answers that I'd written for the form, I wrote a rough draft of my SOP, which I was quite happy with for a rough draft at least. The SOP was edited by Galvanize editors around three or four times, and I found those edits really helpful which improved my SOP by a lot and made it more formal, yet individualized. The basic final draft of the SOP was ready, and was edited for each university, with university-specific inputs like professors I'd like to work with since I was interested in research, curriculum, infrastructure and so on. The admission counselors were really helpful and supportive with good feedback. I had to make an early admission deadline for a particular university, and they were very understanding about it and helped me make it. They were mostly prompt with the SOP iterations and always responded to all my questions regarding GRE/TOEFL examinations, applications, visa related queries. I had a bunch of visa related questions, and I remember feeling really lost about the whole process, but Galvanize really helped me out with all kinds of questions and made sure they got back to me promptly. The resources they'd provided for the entire visa process, including the documentation and help with filling forms were incredibly helpful. With respect to applications, they helped me with sending emails to professors regarding research opportunities. I was very satisfied with my experience with Galvanize. As I'd mentioned, they were really helpful at each stage of my admission process till obtaining my visa, especially during the time of the pandemic. They helped me out with all my questions, provided good feedback and inputs and overall were very kind and supportive.I had opted for GRE coaching services with Galvanize first and then opted for the admission counselling services as well. My experience with Galvanize with respect to GRE was really good. The resources are very well researched and easy to understand, especially for the verbal component of the examination. The essays and the questions were quite tough but helped me prepare quite well. I had five mock tests available, and I got personalized feedback for all, which was really helpful. The material and questions for Quants were really helpful and thorough as well. I actually enjoyed answering Quants questions, since I really like Math. Also, I'd downloaded the Galvanize vocabulary app to improve my vocabulary which was very useful while attending the Verbal section of GRE. Analytical writing material and questions too, were quite informative and very helpful. I really enjoyed my experience with Galvanize, with respect to GRE prep, in terms of the user interface, feedback, resources, material and so on. Start early. It's always good to start early with your admissions, because it is an elaborate process and you will have a lot of items in your checklist to strike off for each university. Apply to as many universities as possible, since the admission criteria for each university will be different and you might actually end up getting accepted to a university you never thought you'd stand a chance for. Make sure your SOP is good and strong, a really good SOP takes your application a long away, when compared to your grades. Also ensure that your SOP reflects well on your experiences, your interests, why you are choosing a particular university and how your university will help you with your goals. Try not to get too disheartened with rejections, it's part of the process, acceptances will come your way too! The entire MS admission process from shortlisting to getting your visa will be hectic and overwhelming, but you will definitely get through it. Ask for help, get your SOP reviewed by many people, no question is too stupid to ask. With respect to GRE, please work on your vocabulary, that really helps. Keep practising questions, reading long passages and summarising them, because GRE is a 3-4 hour exam and requires focus and concentration to be able to sit and take the exam, and reading long passages will help you with your Verbal component. Personally, I was really good with Quants and need to work a little more on Verbal, so make sure you work on your weaknesses and improve your strengths as well. Do not take your mock tests lightly, they help you adapt to a GRE-like environment and also tell you where exactly you stand. When you start working on a particular topic, while studying and taking quizzes, you might score really well. But taking a mock test will tell you what exactly your strengths and weaknesses are, as a whole. Good luck with everything! You got this!

Hi, I finalized two universities and I accepted the offer and I am in the process of preparing the financial documents. My name is Sai and I have done my B. Tech in IIT, Kuruchetra in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and right after my graduation, I started working. I didn't have any insight into pursuing higher studies. I was not aware of industry standards. The job that I worked created that thirst in me to advance my studies. After a year, I developed my interest in this field and I wanted to take a step further. My parents also supported me. I started having conversations with my friends who were doing their M.S. at various universities. While surfing through resources and materials, I came to know about Galvanize through one of the ads while searching. Within a day or two the team from Galvanize contacted me and got to know my profile. I also got to know about your GRE plan.I was also a working professional and I was not confident about GRE prep or higher studies. So, I needed some guidance as I didn't have enough confidence and I was looking for training options. I didn't want to waste my time searching for resources and materials. If I had done the process on my own, It wouldn't have been so easy like this, especially with my job at hand. I and my parents had a conversation with the Galvanize team, I gained that trust. I took the whole package of admissions and GRE because I needed help throughout the process as I know the documentation is very crucial and takes a lot of time and effort. So, I at least needed someone experienced to review my files. Then, I started with the university shortlisting. The first thing I considered was the location. Then financial preferences were given. Then, based on these preferences, we shortlisted a few universities.I had an editor assigned. I wrote the SOP and LOR. I was very happy that all my documents were ready before the university deadlines. I was very much prepared and I was very confident while applying. Galvanize helped me to develop this quality.I got a rejection from one of the universities and I was not hopeful as my GRE score was not great. But, when I received admissions from the other two universities, I was happy. How universities give admission is still a mystery for everyone, but I was prepared for the best and the worst. The pandemic was very crucial and I did not give up the job and I didn't want to end up in a state of uncertainty. I requested a deferral not knowing the upcoming situation. So, that it will not have any impact on my profile. Then, I received a new admit email as I informed the university earlier.I was given a questionnaire and I was asked to fill that. So, I filled all of them. I mailed all of them to my professors and we made corrections. This part was crucial. The questions were perfect.I didn't face any requirement to take a personal call with the Course Managers because I found the app and the portal easy to navigate. In some cases, if I had a doubt, I commented and the issue was resolved. The whats app group was so good. They gave me constant reminders to do my task and I was advised to do the tasks that needs attention. I had good counseling on the analysis of the mock test. The suggestion I would give to the ones who are working and finding it difficult to balance work and admission procedures, I believe at such situations we need someone to guide us through the procedures. It was for my development and this process was very helpful. If I had done all these procedures on my own, I would have faced a lot of obstacles.Prepare for the GRE but also, give a strong perspective to your profile. You need to be prepared with your profile along with GRE and TOEFL prep. I think Galvanize does all of this.

I searched for admissions counseling services on Google and found Galvanize there. I realized I needed help with the formulation, editing and enhancement of my essays for university applications. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to enroll with Galvanize. My counselor, who was extremely supportive throughout the entire process, took the time to understand my needs and priorities. She then came up with a list of universities according to my interests, took note of my suggestions and we finalized a set of safe, ambitious and practical universities. The iteration process was systematic and professional. My doubts were clarified at every stage, and changes were made according to my profile and preferences. I did not use the LOR provided by Galvanize because of the restrictions stipulated by my university. I had to get it done myself. My counselors were well-informed and guided me through every step of the journey. On the whole,my experience with Galvanize admission counseling service was Amazing. The first acceptance which I got was from Buffalo University. I could not believe what I saw. The most precious moment for me was to call up my counselor and tell her the news. I'll never forget that! My family feels very proud and happy for me.My tip for others is Just follow what you aim for, not what others think you should aim for.

I got 111 in TOEFL, it was very easy compared to the mock test. Galvanize prepared me very well and i was prepared for much worse. The strategy for the reading section was so great and i could always revisit the questions which i was not sure about it. The reading test went very well. Initially I was struggling a lot before joining Galvanize. because the passage was so long and it took all of the time went in reading the same. That was something Galvanize helped me with. The speaking section was also quite tricky. In the center, others who were multiple students taking exams along with me, every one started speaking and it became difficult to concentrate on my answers. But I managed and scored good marks. Initially i was trying to take exam preparing on my own. All the resources are free but it did not know how to use it effectively. I needed professional help to tell me what to do and without that I tend to procasinate by not doing things. when I was exploring, then I found out about Galvanize. I loved the platform and the way it is designed, it was so easy to navigate and see the track of my progress.that is why I choose Galvanize.Initially Galvanize was suggested by friend of my friend. After that i started exploring Galvanize, saw the testimonials, the exact plan spoke to Murugan he sent some videos of the platform, that's how i came across Galvanize and enrolled. My suggestion would be if we can have the option for marks for review, the real exam will not have this feature. You can take it down for the last two mock test, so that we will have that in mind that this feature will not be available in the real test. that's the only suggestion but then that the platform is really good. The Instructors are good, it easy to ask them what I wanted to, they replied immediately. I never felt like I was chatting. The Instructor sounds so friendly and she is so quick to respond. The reports were very helpful, after every mock test i read it and understand what mistakes i was making, and which section i am weak etc., and the reports helped me a lot and so fast to generate. After my speaking section, i used to get a very comprehensive response of how i was very fluent and some grammatical mistake that also helped me a lot. Difficulty is that initial 2 mark test, difficulty decreased or I got improved. it gradually increased and i was getting better. Initially i underestimated myself and the test score but it proved wrong after getting good scores. Absolutely i will recommend Galvanize. Everyone was asking about my test plan when I wrote my score in the group. I said it did from Galvanize. and asked them to just get it there to Galvanize and I am completely dependent on them.

I was not aware of the process of applying to a university abroad. Since I was working, it was taking up too much of my time to search for and shortlist universities. I had spent a month and shortlisted only 2 universities before I enrolled with Galvanize.Overall it was not the best of lists but I had a call with Aarthi where I explained my major and also that I wanted to pursue the MS program online. Then, I received a list of 12 universities which had a mix of different majors- Computer Science, CyberSecurity, Cyber Technology. All these courses were in-person rather than online programs. Then I spoke to Aarthi again and she prepared a new list of around 8 universities with online programs but it didn't have any of the universities I had personally shortlisted so I asked Aarthi to add UC Berkeley and Georgia Tech to the list as well. After that I did my research and shortlisted my choice of 6 universities.I liked the overall process of drafting my SOP. The questions asked demanded complete details of college and work. Even after finalizing my SOP it went through another round. Then the SOP was fine tuned and looked excellent after that. There was a lot of support provided when I had any questions. If Aarthi didn't know something, she would find out and tell me, which was helpful. Overall, I would say it could have been better but this was good enough.I liked it a lot. I was totally new to studying abroad and the details involved in the process. I asked my friends who are studying there but nobody was able to give me answers to all the questions I had, but Galvanize did. I didn't know how an SOP should be and they helped me prepare an amazing SOP describing myself. They also helped me make my resume, including everything about myself in 3 pages in a very professional way.Overall Experience was good. GRE and TOEFL preparation was great. Quants tests and questions were very helpful. I had already prepared one round of Quant before enrolling into Galvanize. Galvanize provided me with the edge needed for the exam which helped me get a 160.In the mock tests, AWA is also there but it is never reviewed by anyone. Even the Verbal topic wise tests are never reviewed. The Resume and SOP process was the best part of the whole process. The University shortlisting was not up to my expectations. I requested to check into universities from US and Canada in the google form sent but the admission counselor insisted on selecting one country. My major was selected, mode of study was selected and plus I also had work experience. I figured it would be really easy for her to shortlist some top universities for me. A lot of time was wasted on that which could have been saved.Anyways, my end outcome was really good since I got into all the 6 universities I applied to. I got rejected for cybersecurity for 1 university but was offered MS Computer Science instead. I am happy that my resume and SOP were prepared in a way that helped me get admits into all universities I chose.I would say that instead of concentrating 50-50 on both Quant and Verbal, pick one which you are better at and make sure you are prepared to get 170. Then even if you get 150+ or 155+ in the other, the overall combined score will be 320+ and is really good to get you into your choice of colleges. For shortlisting do your own research as well, do not rely completely on the shortlisting process as your resume might have something greater which might help you get into a better college.Galvanize will help you curate the perfect resume and SOP which will describe you in the best way possible.

My name is Nikitha Agnew and I am from Bangalore. I did my graduation from MVIT in ECE branch.I have received admits from SUNY buffalo, UIC, Stevens, NJIT, UTD, NORTHEASTERN University and I choose to do my masters in management information systems from SUNY buffalo.Initially while I was searching for test prep services on google I came across Galvanize Global Education. Then I checked on quora and saw many positive reviews from students ,because of which I enrolled with Galvanize for my GRE TOEFL and Admissions Process and i must say that they have a very well structured plan.I am really happy with the university selecting process as my counselor gave me a great list of universities and was always there for me when I needed her. She was also very understanding and helpful.Even with the SOP part was good. The editor was very supportive and understanding of my needs.Later we started with the VISA process. My counselor explained the process and gave me all the useful links. She was quick to assist me whenever I faced any issue. It was a wonderful experience.I would suggest aspirants to not waste time, be focused and get help whenever you're stuck and don't hesitate.I would definitely recommend and tell them to go ahead with it and not think twice.

Hi, this is Rahil Shajahan from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. I did my graduation in Engineering Physics. I am glad to share that I got admitted from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, majoring in Optics and Photonics. I needed help writing and structuring my SOP.I also couldn't narrow down the universities I wanted to apply to, with which Galvanize was a great help. The university shortlisting process went on smoothly. Since I got admitted to all the universities I applied to.The first iteration itself was amazing. The questions asked were pitch-perfect.I would say the SOP creation was the highlight of my Galvanize experience.Mrs. Divya admissions head at Galvanize Test Prep was of great help to me. She was straightforward with the questions I asked and I wasn't left confused with bogus answers. The experience, on the whole, was good. Dream big. Don't be scared to apply to higher-ranked universities.

I had enrolled in the GRE preparation course before and the Admissions Counselling seemed like it could help me enter in the Universities I wanted. The shortlisting was not of much use to me personally as I already knew three Universities I wanted to apply to. Furthermore, I was unable to apply more due to time and cost of applications. However, the documentation process was alright. In terms of Personal Statements, I think the counsellor really helped me. I would have been very lost writing one of those letters completely on my own. Especially since I am very busy working on my final year dissertation. The one thing I wish I had done before preparing for the GRE.It might not really show how good you are but Universities seem to use it as a way of initial selection of applicants. The other important thing is to have as much extracurricular experience as possible. It was alright. A bit expensive but really helpful, especially if you have more resources to apply to all the Universities they suggest.

There is lots of IELTS preparation material available online. IELTS provides its own material for test preparation.I personally used the Galvanize Test Preparation material for 30 days. They cover syllabus for each section and all the question types asked in the exam. They also have practice papers along with answers and a study plan for 30 days.I would suggest you to have a look on their website as well.

For any competitive exam, you need to practice/study in a disciplined way. Although some might argue that a good score can be achieved through self-study, but it applies only to some people who are self-disciplined. For others, a disciplined study can be achieved through the help of an external agent like a coaching centre. An ideal coaching institute (offline/online) should be inexpensive, give a proper study plan, interactive course managers, have a good doubt-solving medium and have a ton of practice material.I chose Galvanize Test Prep to prepare for IELTS and got an 8 band with just 15 days of preparation (generally it should not take more than 30 days and not more than 15 if you have prior experience like I gave GRE before IELTS).They start with a diagnostic test which helps in gauging our current level and the 30-days study plan adapts according to it. The study plan has all the required modules for IELTS with explanation videos, many individual practice tests and three full-length mock tests. For the speaking module of the mock test, you are invited to a face-to-face video conference and it feels like a real IELTS Speaking test. It also has a doubt/discussion forum dedicated to each video/ practice quiz and most of the times you can expect a reply within 24hrs. The dedicated course managers are really helpful. In short, it has everything that one might need for the IELTS prep.I opted for a combo package of GRE+IELTS and they charged only 12k for it. At least for me, it was cheap and the best platform to prepare for GRE/IELTS. I haven't found a cheaper alternative than this that has excellent content, methodology and good UI.I would recommend going for it with your eyes closed for IELTS. If you want a review for it's GRE course too, DM me.Along with the Galvanize IELTS course, you can complement your prep by:for L//R/S/W: IELTS-UP IELTS-LIZ (both free) IDP or British Council also have free prep materialfor S: IELTS Advantage (free 3-day speaking challenge)for R: Read Theory (free)If you do this I would guarantee a band, not below 7.5.Hope this helps!

I took my GRE in December 2020 and scored 319/340 ( V -153, Q - 166) and I am awaiting my IELTS results.I had decided to do my masters from UK and knew I had to score well in my GRE and IELTS in order to get into a good university. I was looking for an online prep course and came across Galvanise.I enrolled for their GRE + IELTS 45 Days prep course .Personally I feel it is one of the best training programs out there. Especially their videos, lectures, short assessments and more importantly the 5 full length mock tests. Their vocabulary App was really handy and helped me learn and master new words on the go. In fact I am still using the app after my exam and plan to continue it in order to enhance my word power. I also had personal counselors who kept track of my progress and make personalised study plans (based on my Diagnostic Test scores) while answering all my doubts. Their IELTS prep course is equally beneficial it gave me a thorough practice of all kinds of of LRW questions asked in the exam and 3 mock speaking tests. It has indeed turned out to be one of the best career decisions for me since I am a full time online coding instructor and had to manage my job and my studies together. Thank you Team Galvanize :)If you are prepping for IELTS then I would really suggest you to go for Galvanize Test Prep. They have a very comprehensive IELTS prep course of 15 days or 30 days, depending upon the time you have before your exam date. I took their 15 days crash course and actually started practising questions and religiously followed their daily time table.I scored 8.0 ( overall ) and my sub-sections scores were :Listening - 8.5Reading - 8.0Writing - 8.0Speaking - 7.5So I would definitely suggest you to go with Galvanize. All the best..!!

The Counselor shortlisted universities according to my major interests and also helped me in drafting my SOP and LOR's. Galvanize also provided me guidance in filling applications of universities I applied. Furthermore I got admits from all the universities I've applied to, and have received admits from top tier universities as well thanks to their support on personal statements. The mock interviews for my F1 visa helped me to correct my mistakes, gave me very important tips and I got my visa.My experience with Galvanize was great, If you are thinking of going with Galvanize then go for it. Professional help during application filling and other tasks helps streamline your efforts and makes your graduate application process smoothA small reminder from my end regarding statement of purpose will be : you'll be asked to introspect and fill a lot of personal questions, and by the time you fill this, you'll have a better idea of why and what you want to do with your master's

I did my own research on the net to find a convenient way to learn for the GRE. I was not able to take the test. However, the academic staff and those on the whatsapp group were very helpful as they pushed me to put more effort into the exam. I found from the reviews that students had a wide variety of options to choose their admits from. Unlike regular agencies that have tie-ups with only certain universities and no room for much choice, I found that Galvanize allows us to choose from a wide variety of options depending on our financial ability and academic merit. So, I felt that if I chose Galvanize, I could get an admit at a university with excellent rankings and teaching facilities. The short listing process went well. My counselor was very supportive and gave me enough time to make my decisions. I informed my counselor that I wanted to pursue a degree in environmental engineering and within a few weeks, he shortlisted the best choice of universities for me. Following the SOP process was good.Due to the way in which the questions for the initial inputs were framed, I had no issues and once everything was compiled, I had the freedom to make my changes and produce an SOP with high standards. The editors were extremely helpful too. I am thankful that I had a counselor who was patient with me throughout the entire process because I took a lot of time to make decisions. Have a clear idea of what you want. Do not leave your admission process to the last minute. Ask questions and follow the procedure that Galvanize has set for you. They will not disappoint you!

My name is Priyanka and I am currently working. I have seven years of professional experience in the IT domain. Doing my master's had always been in my mind. But as I got a job, this aspiration took a back seat, and then the pandemic was the other issue. My age was a barrier to me as I was in a situation to get into a more stable place in life. At this point,I took the counseling session at Galvanize and the team counseled very well. They cleared all the doubts I had. They were very convincing to me. They made me understand what I am getting myself into.Post that, I was skeptical. From here, I enrolled in the Galvanize and counseling sessions.I was looking for the exams that I should take and the university requirements to equip myself with the requisite skills.I had a great coach and it was awesome to network with such a great team with Galvanize. She exactly drilled the courses I needed from different colleges. Keeping in mind my professional experience.I felt that I didn't want to be in the class of freshers and neither at the doctorate level. I expected something mediocre where I can find a good harmony between the two. Here, Galvanize played a very important role and without them, it wouldn't have been possible for me to get admission to my dream universities.I filled in the forms where I filled in the personal details so the documentation process including SOP and LORS turns out to be good. The Sop and Lor process was a smooth and streamlined process for me.The whats app group was very active and responsive. They never failed to answer my queries even on late evenings and holidays.I liked the networking and the support offered by my mentors. Along with it, the counselor was available anytime and I would get instant responses without any delay.I applied to three ambitious universities not bothering about my scores as Arthy told me that I have a strong profile and I received calls from all three universities. I wanted the degree not to be very strenuous so I took some specialized master's. My name is Kevin. I completed my ug from SRM in CS. I plan to pursue a Masters' in CS from the beginning. I always wanted to go abroad but I am still deciding on my field. Yet, I decided to choose CS only after my UG experience.Galvanize did a webinar at SRM University and that was how I got to know about Galvanize. Unlike other consultancies, they told Galvanize will analyze your profile and suggest universities accordingly which was unique.I searched about Galvanize on Google and read reviews about Galvanize in Quora. People gave good reviews and after seeing all of that I gave a call to them. I got a call and the counselor asked about my interest and I shared it with her.The pricing that is offered which includes SOPs, LORs, and other documents is quite reasonable and good. The journey was pretty smooth. Although, there was confusion in the beginning. I had switched fields. Earlier, I wanted to pursue DS and later I changed it to CS. After this, the journey was smooth. The shortlisted universities were pretty good. Yes, I too had suggestions to include two or three Universities. I spoke to my Counselor. She gave me some ideas about the process and asked me to fill out a form where I gave input about myself. My resume was good. The editor was too good. I gave all my input and within one or two days, I got my draft and I was satisfied. The questions were pretty easy to answer. I was very satisfied with the SOP as well. The LORs were also very good and this gained me admission to many universities.I got assistance for a visa interview and watched many videos. So, they guided me so well. I had an issue with the visa process: when I submitted the documents on the portal, I could not access the documents for my reference. My counselor guided me and resolved the issue. The Course Managers helped me before my university shortlisting and visa process. We had good interaction. If I would recommend Galvanize to my friends, I would say that the quality of the documents is very superior and they are tailored based on your profile. The portal and university documents are extremely good.I prepared for IELTS and Galvanize provided helpful material. I prepared on my own. Time did not give much attention to us so I left that in the middle and joined Galvanize as the course and training were great. My suggestion to other aspirants is that if you want to enroll for a fall season, start your prep from the previous year's fall.
